The Airfixed consultation collusion kit was created as part of Greenpeace's aviation campaign against the proposed new third runway at Heathrow Airport.
The classic Airfix logo was re-drawn to become 'Airfixed' and added to the spoof Airfix kit along with an illustration which was built up of a collage of aviation and climate related images.
Inside the boxes an 'instruction sheet' could be found with more information about the campaign and a drawing providing a humouristic overview of the politics surrounding environmental issues.
The boxes were handed out on the streets of London to raise the public's awareness of the aviation campaign.
To date, Greenpeace and a range of other organisations have successfully managed to delay the build of third runway by purchasing a plot of land upon which the runway was meant to be built.
